From the moment we first visited, we fell in love with how beautiful the venue is, and on the day itself it exceeded all of our expectations. The setting is absolutely stunning, with so much character and charm, creating the perfect atmosphere for our celebration. The team were incredible from start to finish, providing amazing service and making sure every detail was taken care of. Nothing was too much trouble, and they went above and beyond to ensure everything ran smoothly. Their professionalism, friendliness, and attention to detail made us feel completely relaxed and able to enjoy every moment of our special day. We received so many compliments from our guests about both the venue and the wonderful staff. We couldn’t have chosen a better place to celebrate our wedding and would highly recommend Sugar Baron to anyone looking for a beautiful venue with exceptional service. 11 out 10 recommendation, the people that work there are amazing and Brad and Marisa are the most helpful people on the planet. Amazing service and drinks. My personal favorite even over Holyrood Distillery. If in KZN or even SA it is a must go. Not at once awkward, you feel like family their and never want to leave. This was purely a ‘I want’ purchase, there was no way I couldn’t order it. Delivery was quick and fast and came in the most adorable bag with the liqueur beautifully presented in a box (sadly gave away the cherry one before I took a photo). The coffee one was for me!! Have added some to my coffee and I’m in my element, the rum side is warm and buttery which makes the coffee just pop! It was hard not doing a half/half (I do need to drive home still). I did taste it on its own and it’s beyond yummy. It’s hard not to drink it fast like a milkshake. It is definitely something I’d buy again not just for me, but to also give as gifts. Our family visited Sugar Baron for a tour, tasting and lunch, it was fabulous! Brad and Marisa were so welcoming and friendly! The tour was really interesting, the tasting was divine and the lunch was delicious! They have a small shop onsite, so you can purchase any products that you tasted and enjoyed, which is great.
